They positioned themselves as shown, but before I could fire the shutter shey were standing in a less interesting posture; so I decided to show how amicable my intentions were, and end all the aggression, by collecting a large bale of grass from a nearby verge and placing it for them on the railings, equidistant from each. Eric made a grab for the bale, which then fell to the ground; at that, both Eric and Eric II returned to their former position, and I was able to get my picture. 1/60 sec., f4, tripod.
